Sustainable finance means considering sustainability goals in financing transactions, such as reducing climate risks, contributing to improving corporate governance and promoting good social relations and human rights ('ESG'). The term financing transaction is interpreted broadly: it can include bank loans to governments, companies, or consumers, but also financing transactions conducted through the capital markets.
