Corporate Governance is the system of rules, practices and processes by which companies are managed and controlled.
As part of Sustainable Corporate Governance, scholars conduct innovative (interdisciplinary) research into various aspects of responsible entrepreneurship. This research both considers developing innovative forms or organization as well as making existing businesses more sustainable. Core themes are the inclusive structure of the corporation and the responsibilities of the respective organs, the adequate handling of stakeholder interests and the sustainable financing (and remuneration in respect) of corporate activities.
