EsCHER organises an annual research excellence award and makes an appeal for sponsorship of events in Rotterdam.
Eddy van Doorslaer Research Excellence Award
As of 2023, this prize will be awarded in recognition of excellent research in the broad field of health economics, including Health Technology Assessment and health systems and insurance research. The prize will be awarded annually with the best published article in the previous calendar year. As part of this research award, laureates are given the opportunity to give a presentation at an EsCHER-sponsored and organised symposium, fully tailored to the winner and his or her research interests.

EsCHER event funding
This call for events offers EsCHER affiliates (i.e. researchers who are members of or associated with these research groups). Financial support to organise events that align with EsCHER's objectives to promote health economics research and education in Rotterdam. The grant call is intended to cover the costs of organising such an event (e.g. venue costs, catering, travel costs for international participants).
EsCHER will consider supporting events up to a total of € 1000-1500 per event. The available budget allows for multiple events to be granted funding. Note that this call is intended for EsCHER members to organize events on the EUR campus taking place before 31/12/2024 that benefit EsCHER members and their visibility, not to support EsCHER members to visit events or travel, even if this is to disseminate EsCHER research.
