This event is part of the European project U-MOB LIFE or 'European Network for Sustainable Mobility at University'. U-MOB LIFE is co-funded by the LIFE Programme of the European Union and aims to reduce CO2 emissions in European university campuses.
The 2nd European Conference on Sustainable Mobility at Universities will take place from the 14th to the 15th of March 2019 at the Krakow University of Technology. This will be the second European platform where universities from different European countries and other territories will have the opportunity to share their needs, challenges and different solutions in the field of accessibility and sustainable mobility.

A space for Universities to share knowledge about sustainable mobility…
In the context of the II Conference a call for papers was also launched where Universities were invited to present their experiences, both on best practices and problematic issues on several relevant topics in the field of sustainable mobility.
As a result, the conference will bring together different experiences of participating universities and territories. The first day, different universities from all around the EU will show their cases in implementing Mobility Plans in their campuses. Other topics will focus on the use of land and spatial planning as resources for the implementation of Mobility Plans and the use of new technologies for university mobility.
The second day of the Conference topics such as public transport for campus users and the cooperation with stakeholders will be discussed. In the framework of the U-MOB Project a Contest for the Best University Mobility practice was launched. The University winner of this contest will be presented before all attendants. The agenda is already available on U-MOB’s Second Conference Project Website.
… with all kind of stakeholders
