30km/h speed limits to make cities more livable

In October, the Dutch House of Representatives decided to make the 30km/h speed limit the norm in Dutch built-up areas. Anna Bornioli (Senior Researcher Mobility and Healthy Cities) discussed the 30km/h speed limits in the Italian newspaper La Repubblica. The article illustrates how the 30km/h speed limit and other transport policies adopted by Rotterdam and other European cities can contribute to make cities healthier and more livable. The article is available here (in Italian): https://www.repubblica.it/green-and-blue/2020/10/09/news/piu_lente_e_piu_vivibili_in_citta_la_rivoluzione_e_verde-269989977/.
