In her role as chairman of the General Objections Committee of the municipality of Rotterdam, Joke de Wit (associate professor of Administrative Law) recently presented the 2018 annual report to Mayor Aboutaleb.
Many former students of our faculty work in the department of the municipality of Rotterdam where the hearings of this committee are prepared and the recommendations of the committee are written. One or more students of the LL.M. programme in Constitutional and Administrative Law also do an internship at this department and students regularly attend hearings of the General Objections Committee for the LL.M. course in Legal Protection against the government. An excellent example of the fruitful collaboration between Erasmus School of Law and the municipality of Rotterdam.
