The Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet (RLK)

The Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet is private association library located within the University Library. The Leeskabinet has an extensive and continually expanding collection (ca. 250.000 volumes) in the fields of literature, poetry, art, history, culture, fiction, and a vast collection of weekly and monthly periodicals. Current novels, detective fiction, major biographies, and popular works in various subject fields are in the open shelves in the University Library, which makes browsing easy. Furthermore, the Leeskabinet organises literary lectures and cultural activities. Students and staff of Erasmus University Rotterdam are entitled to borrow books free of charge. For alumni the special introductory membership price for the first year is € 15,00.
