You can also continue to use the University Library (UB) after graduation. Erasmus University Rotterdam alumni receive a special discount, meaning they only pay €15.00 per year instead of €40.00. Please note: this membership is for borrowing books only and does not give access to the university's digital resources. For this, see: Services for visitors.
In addition to borrowing books, the library card also allows you to:
- use the study areas and study area collection;
- avail yourself of the professional support of the library staff;
- consult the FAQ regarding the Library;
- ask a question via our contact form.
Borrowing from another library
If the University Library does not have a book or journal article, you can borrow it from another library through the Interlibrary Loan (IBL). More information.

Apply for membership by filling out the form below. The UB will process the information and send you a message with an iDEAL payment link. After receiving the payment, the UB will arrange your membership and send you a message with the loaner's number and information on how to pick up your card. For a UB membership, you need to have a permanent place of residence in the Netherlands.
