Study associations
Among the character traits that define Rotterdam students are their high level of activity and their hardworking mentality. They are actively involved in variousconsulting associations and often have side jobs as student assistants to professors or in the administrative departments of the faculty. Their involvement keeps the faculty alert and open to student ideas.
The character of the students is also demonstrated by the active faculty and study associations.
The study association connected to the Master Policy Economics is AEclipse. AEclipse is a Master and Premaster association that serves as the contact partner for four Master’s degrees: besides Policy Economics, it caters to the profiles of International Economics, Economics of Markets and Organisations, and Economics of Sustainability. Additionally, it supports students from the Pre-Master in Economics and Business.
AEclipse is an international student association and an ideal place to get to know your fellow students. During the year, the association hosts many different events that either have an academic or career-based focus, or are simply organised to meet students from other degrees and enjoy a drink.
Each year, the Board and the Committees of AEclipse change, and positions are available to new students, Active work for AEclipse helps developing contacts and social skills, and it should be seen as another asset of the master programme.
