What does this study entail?
The master programme Media, Culture & Society teaches you to examine the media’s societal impacts and application in times of intensifying digitalisation, cultural diversity, and media saturation. This specialisation underscores the media’s key role in pressing social debates. It covers processes of representation, production, distribution, and reception of established and emerging media. When examining these processes, you will focus on identity, gender, race, ethnicity, and class, as well as on phenomena like migration, globalisation, technological transformations, and social activism. As a Media, Culture and Society student you become an expert in applying new insights and conducting research within a wide range of topics and organisations.
