Requesting journals

You cannot borrow journals in printed form but you can peruse and copy them. This year’s issues of a journal can be found in the University Library, level 0 (general journals) and +1 (subject-specific journals). Older issues are kept in the closed stacks.

If you would like to peruse older issues of a journal you can request this through the online form. On the form you fill in the journal title, call number and year(s) and/or volume(s). The call number of a journal can be found in sEURch. This is usually a P number or a Z number (e.g. P 10.976).

We strive to have the journal ready for you within 2 working days. As soon as it is, we will make an appointment with you via e-mail to see the journal in our consultation room.

In the ISS Library the journals are in open stacks and therefore you do not need to request these.
