The University Library has four departments: Collection Management & Access, Library Research Support, Library Education Support and Staff. The library management team consists of the director and heads of these departments. Together, they set the direction of the Library.
The Library is located in the B Building on Woudestein campus. The building also houses the Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet (RLK). Both the RLK and the Library of the International Institute of Social Studies in The Hague are part of the library organization.
Faculty Liaisons working within the various departments are responsible for maintaining contact with the faculties and collection development. They also provide workshops in cooperation with the various Information Specialists of the library.

The Leeskabinet collection includes novels, poetry, history, art and books about the city of Rotterdam and is accessible to members and to employees and students of Erasmus University. The Publication Support Team is part of the Library Research Support Department and contributes to the promotion of Open Science by providing information, advice and training on copyright and Open Access. The Front Desk is the welcoming reception area of the University Library.
