Starting Monday September 2nd, it is necessary again to reserve your study space in the UL in advance.

Monday, September 2nd, is the opening of the academic year and from that moment onwards it will be busy on campus again and therefore also busy in the UL. To make studying in the UL as smooth as possible, the reservation system is open again from today. This means that you can now reserve your study space before Monday, September 2nd.

In our news item of Monday, August 19th, we already announced that the UL has 48 extra study places and that the look of the reservation system has changed. There have also been some adjustments in the settings and we think that with these changes we can offer even more different students a study place in the UB. Below are the most important changes:

  • Maximum 4 days advance booking (previously 7 days).
  • Maximum 6 hours per booking (previously 8 hours). You can make multiple bookings per day.
  • Maximum 40 study hours per week (previously 50).

On the Studying webpage you can read more about studying in the UL and the other buildings on campus Woudestein where you can study.

Another change we would like to share is that at 63 study places the PC and monitor have been removed. These will be replaced by a new monitor including an HDMI cable. This was a much-heard wish from the annual user survey. We assume that we are serving you with this.

See you again in the library and enjoy your studies!
