The collection of the Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet belongs to the cultural heritage of the city of Rotterdam and its surroundings. The Leeskabinet also plays an important and independent role in the dissemination of knowledge from the fields of culture and science.
The Leeskabinet depends on financial contributions from members, friends and relations. To ensure healthy stability in the future, financial contributions (besides memberships) from members, friends and relations will continue to be essential. You can provide extra support to the Leeskabinet in various ways:
- through a one-off donation
- through periodical donations
- by means of a legacy or bequest
The Leeskabinet has ANBI status. Periodical financial donations are all tax-deductible. There is no minimum amount. However, it is a requirement to commit to the gift for at least 5 years. Legacies to the Leeskabinet are exempt from inheritance tax.
With your support, the Leeskabinet can guarantee its future and continue to invest in expanding the collection and maintaining the historical cultural heritage.
