General info
Bloomberg can be accessed using the Bloomberg icon on your Desktop. The username and password can be found at the bottom of the monitor. It should look like BBLOOMxx / EDSCxx
Installing add-ins
Before you start: make sure you are logged in to Bloomberg (see General info), start and close(!) Microsoft Excel.
Then go to Start menu > Bloomberg > Install office add-ins > Click "Install"
Once you get the message the add-ins are installed click "Done" and start Excel. When Excel starts you might receive a "Microsoft Excel security notice". Close it (Alt-F4), do not click "Disable macro's"!. Check if the add-ins appear.
Export to Excel
Sometimes when you click on "Export to Excel" nothing happens. To solve this issue try the following:
Type Alt-D (Terminal Defaults) > Legacy terminal defaults > Setup > Download setup > Modify.
Select your own Downloads folder and try again.
