This year’s theme is ‘Leading today, shaping tomorrow’. We will welcome two prominent speakers to our virtual stage: internationally renowned architect Francine Houben and successful entrepreneur and EUR alumnus Frank Slootman.
On the special occasion of the Dies Natalis, Erasmus University Rotterdam traditionally awards honorary doctorates to individuals in appreciation of their outstanding contribution to science and society. Professor Jane Dutton (University of Michigan) has been nominated by Rotterdam School of Management and Professor Katharina Pistor (Columbia University) by Erasmus School of Law.
The FAME Athena Award is presented to a university staff member who has made an exceptional effort to promote female talent - and set a fine example for their colleagues in the process.
In addition, the programme will feature rector magnificus Rutger Engels, chair of the Executive Board Ed Brinksma and Ansgar Richter, Dean of Rotterdam School of Management.
The broadcast will start at 3.30 P.M..
