The Erasmus Education Lab is an open, light-filled space equipped with several workspaces. The area with the staircase is perfect for presentations or workshops with a larger group. There are also several workspaces (including a closed room), where you can meet or brainstorm with groups of up to 8 people.

How to use the Education Lab
The facilities of the Erasmus Education Lab are available to lecturers and support staff of Erasmus University Rotterdam who are working on innovating education. Would you like to organise an event, brainstorm or other activity in the Education Lab? Then contact us at educationlab@eur.nl. Please note that the activity must have a clear link to educational innovation.
You help us a lot by answering the following questions in your e-mail:
⁃ What kind of activity do you want to organise?
⁃ For which department?
⁃ At what date and time?
⁃ How many people will participate in the activity?
⁃ Do you want to use catering during the activity?
Opening hours
Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 17.00.
Reservations outside regular opening hours are on request.
Frequently Asked Questions
Drinks from the drinks machine are available for free. If your event consists of more than 10 people, we recommend ordering cans of coffee/tea. Catering in the Education Lab is provided through Vitam. You can find their assortment on MyEUR. Need help ordering catering for your event? Then share your wishes (number of people, catering, and any dietary restrictions), and let us know which EUR Card number (linked to the WBS number) the cost may be booked on.
No costs are charged to faculties and support departments within Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). Costs do apply to EUR BVs that use the rooms.
Education Lab spaces are not available as regular meeting rooms. If your meeting is linked to an innovation project, CLI fellowship or in preparation for a design session, then this is allowed. For meetings with other purposes, please contact Event & Room Bookings.
The Education Lab is a educational space and cannot be reserved for drinks or dinner. Please use the other facilities on campus or check with Event & Room Bookings.

As a student, you can share your ideas on educational innovation with Students-for-Students (S4S). S4S gives (financial) support to various student projects, but also organizes regular meetups. Projects that receive support can use the Education Lab for events and inspiration sessions.
