During the Dies Natalis, the Executive Board presents awards to outstanding researchers and students of our university. By doing so, we recognise the talent we have and express our appreciation for scientists and students who have made a significant contribution.
Research Prize
The Research Prize is awarded to a promising researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam who has performed exceptional research and is just embarking on a research career (having obtained a doctorate within the last three years). This prize is made possible by the Erasmus Trustfonds.
Lambers Student Excellence Award
The Lambers Student Excellence Award will be presented to an excellent student who has performed exceptionally well in her or his study career. This prize is made possible by the Erasmus Trustfonds.
FAME Athena Award
Erasmus University Rotterdam and FAME (Female Academics Moving toward Equity) strive for equal representation of female talent within the academic environment. With the Athena Award, FAME aims to celebrate staff members and students who stimulate female talent within the academic environment and are a true example for others.
