A teaching activity to gain and share new insights. Divided into pairs, students discuss a specific topic. The pairs interview each other, swap roles and then share the new knowledge with another pair. This teaching activity lets students learn more about the subject, as well as listen better and ask the right questions.

Step 1

The teacher gives a theme or topic for the interview and indicates how long the interviews will take from the pair.

Step 2

Student A starts interviewing student B.

Step 3

When the time is up, the students switch roles: Student B will then interview student A.

Step 4

Next comes the exchange with another pair. The pairs will form groups with another duo. The students will take turns exchanging with the other duo what they have learned.

 

 

Tip:

Have students elaborate on the interview. When the pairs share the new knowledge with another pair, they can elaborate it on a poster or a short presentation
