Despite the current corona crisis, the applications of Dutch students have increased. Also more international students want to start their study at Erasmus University Rotterdam next year. How will we take on this challenge as a university? Dutch newspaper 'Algemeen Dagblad' discussed this with press officer Meral van Leeuwen.
Press officer Meral van Leeuwen: "We garantuee the education for next year and hope that everybody will come." As a university, we want to offer the new students some extra reassurance. How are we going about that? "For starters, all the study programmes will continue and we are communicating this to all the students," Van Leeuwen tells the newspaper. "We are really striving to receive students on the campus, as soon as offline education is possible. And if there is really no alternative, than we will offer online education."
