Economics student Adam Wadolowski receives scholarship from alumnus

With financial support of Erasmus School of Economics’ alumnus Mr. Dick Verbeek who graduated in 1975, economics student Adam Wadolowski will attend an intensive three-week undergraduate summer course at London School of Economics.

In the presence of former dean Prof. Philip Hans Franses and Charles Hermans (Director Alumni Affairs & Development), Mr. Dick Verbeek surprised the student during a pleasant gathering in the Erasmus Pavilion at Woudestein Campus.

Mr. Verbeek who studied economics in Rotterdam and led Aon (the world's leading provider of global risk management, insurance brokerage and consulting services) in Europe for 20 years, has granted economics students with a scholarship for many years.

Recipient Adam Wadolowski is Bachelor Honours Class student at Erasmus School of Economics. The programme of the Bachelor Honours Class is designed to deepen economic knowledge beyond standard curriculum, to break the shackles of economic paradigm, to stimulate personal development, and to polish both soft and academic skills.

Adam will follow the Data Engineering for the Social World course at LSE, which will make him produce stunning web reports and visual dashboards to display the collected data and showcase his newly acquired data-wrangling abilities. This will surely help him on his way to becoming a Research Assistant.
