Mundus MAPP is a two-year-long international joint Masters programme in Public Policy, offered by four top-ranked European institutions: Central European University, Budapest (Hungary), International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam (the Netherlands), Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (Spain) and the University of York (UK). Established in 2007, the programme operates as an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Programme funded by the European Commission.
Education Objectives
The overall objective of the Mundus MA Programme in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP) is to provide scholarly education and practical training for future academic and policy leaders in the public, private and non-profit sectors. It aims to provide a detailed and systematic understanding of how political institutions, processes and public policies operate and interact from the global political economy through to national and local levels with a direct focus on European engagements at these levels of governance.

Curriculum
The first year is spent either at ISS or at the Central European University in Budapest and the second year either at the University of York or the Institute on International Relations in Barcelona (IBEI).

Target Audience
ISS-IBEI track: Applicants wishing to study public policy with the objective to work for international organizations, think tanks or NGOs and/or applicants wishing to have a career in research related fields (PhD for example) may well be attracted to this specific track.
ISS-York track: Applicants wishing to study public policy in the context of developing countries with the objective to work for an international organization in the future may well be attracted to this specific track.
