In it you find digitised materials from the U.S. Congressional and government archives, such as reports, draft laws and acts, petitions, treaties, and the proceedings of the Senate and the House of Representatives and their committees, the oldest material dating back to 1789.
Containing material from over 200 years of American political history, the database allows you to not only zoom in on key moments such as the Wall Street Crash of 1929, America's entry into World War II, or the Watergate scandal, but also to study long-term developments as f.e. the emancipation of African Americans – from the debates about the abolition of slavery in the mid-nineteenth century to the approval of the Civil Rights Act in 1964 (and beyond).

- U.S. Congressional Serial Set, 1817-1994
- Senate Executive Journals, 1789-1980
