Dissertation in short:

The aim of this thesis was to investigate the clinical and biological effects of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in motor learning and recovery of upper extremity function after stroke. Furthermore, we explored individual differences in motor learning and brain activity in healthy individuals, as this may elucidate potential targets for treatment in stroke patients.
