On 9 October 2019 the Learning & Innovation bEURs takes place. This year the event is dedicated to the EUR strategy for 2024, ‘Next steps in future-oriented education’.
This event is meant for EUR lecturers, students and support staff.
Within the strategy the EUR works on three different themes. Every bEURs breakout session is connected to one of these themes. Choose two of the sessions to attend and let us know about your choice in the form at the bottom of this page! Besides breakout sessions, you will be introduced to various innovative projects during the Learning & Innovation Market (including lunch).
Theme 1: Personal and professional development
The Erasmus University thinks it’s important to invest in the personal and professional development of students. We do this by supporting first generation students and by stimulating students to set their personal goals. Below you will find the breakout session that's connected to this theme.
Theme 2: Investing in innovation capacity
For high quality education we need skilled educators. To professionalise lecturers the EUR invests in learning innovation teams and lecturer training. Below you will find the breakout sessions that are connected to this theme.
Theme 3: Investing in personal learning routes through online facilities
With the new strategy we will invest more in digital learning. We do this by making education more blended and by adjusting it to the individual interests, wishes and backgrounds of students. Below you will find the breakout session that's connected to this theme.
