The Eurekaweek is the introduction week of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). As a new student you get to know everything our university has to offer. During our events you will explore campus Woudestein, you will become acquainted with the various faculties and associations associated with the university, and you will receive a warm welcome as a new 'Erasmiaan'. For all first-year international students, the Eurekaweek will start one day earlier: on August 18th, during The International Day.
Get to know the city of Rotterdam
This beautiful city is known for its harbour and modern vibe. However, Rotterdam has so much more to offer than that! Walk around the city and find your favorite hotspot!
Meet fellow students
The Eurekaweek is also the perfect moment to meet other first year students of Erasmus University Rotterdam. You will be placed in a group of approx. 15 students (mostly) from the same study programme, but there is plenty opportunity to get to know students from other programmes.
International Day

The Sunday before the official start of the Eurekaweek the International Day takes place on campus. This the day to get to meet your fellow international students for the first time and to make some first steps as a student in the Netherlands. There will be a presentation, some workshops and a market to give you a head start!
