Join us for a CLI Lunch & Learn, where you will learn more about the interesting educational innovations and research taking place at Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) and beyond. During this edition, Laura Ripoll Gonzalez, Francisca Grommé and Alex Huang will present the results of their student focus groups in which they explored students’ experiences, practices and perceptions with using generative AI.
New developments in generative AI are happening at a remarkable rate. These developments are driving the need for new guidelines for AI use in education. At ESSB, focus groups were used to make sure students can help shape these guidelines. In these sessions, students shared why and how they use generative AI, their experiences, concerns, and what they need from the university.
