Science meets entrepreneurship

4 students in a row with laptop on their laps

Introduction

Setting goals for yourself and thinking about the impact you want to make with your research can be difficult. Deciding on what to do next, after your PhD, can be even more challenging. That’s where this workshop comes in!

Don’t worry, we are not going to talk about setting up a business. The objective of the workshop is to trigger your entrepreneurial mindset with the help of the 5 principles of effectuation.

We will practice the art of setting short term and long term actions and goals, and assessing the resources and obstacles that help or impede accomplishing your objectives, among other things. The ultimate purpose is to create insights in how you can leverage your knowledge to create value in society and industry.
