Ronald van Raak with Radio Programme BNR Studio Den Haag

Ronald van Raak, Professor of Erasmian Values, recently joined BNR Studio Den haag twice to speak about political developments in the Netherlands. From his experience in the House of Representatives, as a former member of the SP, and his extensive academic background in the field, he approaches topics with a philosophical perspective, historical knowledge and societal engagement.

In the January 20 broadcast, Van Raak shares the stage with political reporter Leendert Beekman, where they speak with the hosts about "big mistakes made in maintaining that [the] rule of law" by the government. This in response to words by Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Affairs, Hanke Bruins Slot.

In the February 7 broadcast, Van Raak shares the stage with political reporter Sophie van Leeuwen, where they speak with the hosts about the judge's ruling surrounding the case between Member of Parliament Nilüfer Gündoğan and VOLT. The judge ruled that Gündoğan may not return to the VOLT faction, nor will she receive compensation from the party.
