Liesbeth’s reaction on her appointment:

I am very much looking forward to continuing my work at the faculty where I graduated and obtained my PhD. I noticed that there is a lot of enthusiasm for educational innovation and to strengthen the cooperation with social partners to set up educational programmes and to conduct research about these programmes. In the coming years, I will contribute to this at the Erasmus School of Philosophy and Rotterdam Arts & Sciences Lab. Moreover, I will contribute to further strengthen the position of the humanities at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
