Student Advice
It isn’t uncommon for students to (temporarily) struggle with insecurity and tension, personal issues, or disappointing results during their studies. In that case, a meeting with the student advisor can be the first step towards a solution. The student advisor can help you place things in perspective and regain control of the bigger picture. In addition, he or she can coach you with regard to academic skills and planning. Furthermore, the student advisor may advise you on how to deal with circumstances that interfere with your academic progress or may refer you to other professionals at Erasmus University Rotterdam. On your educational journey at the Erasmus School for Health Policy and Management, your Student Advisor is a trusted guide to help you reach your destination.
Read the “frequently asked questions” to find an answer to common questions regarding MOMI monitoring, teaching and exam regulations, personal circumstances, academic skills, and studying with medical, physical, or sensory limitations. You can always send an email or make an appointment through the online planner.
You can seek the advice of the Student Advisor for:
- Advice regarding academic planning
- Coaching in the field of academic skills and stress management
- Guidance in case of personal circumstances (such as a functional impairment)
- In case of valid and proven personal circumstances, Student Advice can advise the examination board about any additional resits or extended validity of grades
- Information about studying with a functional impairment
