Transito
Transito is the official study association of the Erasmus School of Economics for students in the Master program Urban, Port & Transport Economics (UPTE). The association is completely organised by students and has the aim to offer a glance at the world behind the studies. Transito comes from the Latin word for ‘transit’, acting as a passage between students, university and companies. By providing chances to students and alumni through organising professional and social activities, Transito tries to give meaning to its name. Via the organisation of events Transito attempts to be the link between study and business and provide a broader perspective on and understanding of chances present.
Transito has a lot to offer current students of the UPTE program. There are a lot of social activities going on during the year, for examples ice skating, drinks, and a BBQ. Besides that, an annual study trip is also an amazing experience. Finally, we help you build your career, organizing various events and providing you with information about all the interesting career opportunities.
Introduction weekend
By choosing the UPTE master, you will get the opportunity to meet new friends in the introduction weekend to Antwerp. We value new friendships, also in the last year of your studies. With students sharing the same interest, these friendships are easily made. Transito offers a night away in Antwerp in the beginning of September to get to know each other and to discover the city! This weekend also gives an opportunity to ask questions to our board members and find out whether you would like to be part of the next years board which is recruited after the introduction weekend.
