The participation at Erasmus School of Economics comprises the School Council and four Programme Committees. As required by law, half of the members of the participation bodies are staff members and half are students.
School Council
The School Council discusses the general running affairs of the school with the dean. The dean informs the School Council about any policies that Erasmus School of Economics carries out and policy proposals that concern teaching & research, and policy proposals in the field of finances and organisation. Alongside its general advisory role, the School Council has a specific approval competency with respect to determining and modifying the School Regulations and part of the Teaching and Examinations Regulations.
Programme Committees
The four Erasmus School of Economics’ Programme Committees advise the Programme Director about all matters concerning the programmes. Together with the School Council, the Programme Committees advise on parts of the teaching and examinations regulations (TER and in Dutch ‘OER’).
Please contact the participation bodies via the secretary of the participation bodies.
