Required application documents

To assess your admissibility, you are required to upload several documents via the EUR Admissions Portal. Please read the list below carefully to make sure that your documents meet the criteria. This responsibility lies with the applicant. Should you miss the deadline, or should your documents not meet the application criteria, then your application will be considered incomplete and therefore will be cancelled.

  • Non-EEA applicants must submit all documents by 1 April 2025
  • EEA nationality applicants must submit all documents by 1 May 2025

1. A copy of your university diploma or graduation statement

Upload a scanned copy of your bachelor’s diploma, or a graduation statement if you have not yet graduated. Download the graduation statement template, complete it and have it signed and stamped by your university official. Only certified graduation statements are accepted. More information about the graduation statement can be found on the Graduation Statement page.

Once you have graduated you will always have to email a certified copy of your diploma if you were admitted based on a certified graduation statement.

2. A copy of your university transcript

Submit a scanned copy of your official transcript (final grade list) or, if you are still studying, your most recent grade list. This must be signed and stamped by a university official – screenshots will not be accepted.

3. Overview of courses to be obtained

If you have not yet graduated, please submit an overview of all ongoing courses and the credits that they are worth.

4. Proof of sufficient mathematics background (Only for (Pre-)Master Econometrics and Management Science)

To demonstrate you have met the knowledge requirements, please upload the course descriptions and literature lists for equivalent courses you have passed as described on the Admission Requirements page.

Please see the pdf example overview as to how this should be formatted.

5. A copy of the TOEFL iBT / TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition, Academic IELTS or Cambridge C1 Advanced or Cambridge C2 Proficiency Test Score Report

Upload a scanned copy of your English test score report with sufficient scores. Ensure it meets the minimum score requirements and is still valid. Scores typically take about 14 days to be published, so be sure to plan your test appointment accordingly.

You can find a list of accepted English tests, their validity and minimum score requirements here. For TOEFL, upload the report showing your Best Scores. For IELTS, combine and upload all valid score reports in a single PDF.

6. A Curriculum Vitae

A Curriculum Vitae is required to give insight into the chronological order of your academic career.

Please note: All documents must be in English or Dutch. If they are in another language, have them translated by a sworn translator to English – self-translations are not accepted. Only the documents listed are needed; reference letters, motivation letters, and work experience will not be taken into consideration.

Steps after submission: Once you have submitted an application you can expect a period of 6 weeks for an admission decision. Should you be deemed admissible, you will be requested to upload a certified copy of your transcript as well as a certified graduation statement or a certified copy of your diploma via the Certified Documents Portal. Should you have been admitted based on your graduation statement, then you must email a certified copy of your diploma and a final grade list upon graduation.
