The Finance Group has a strong research and publications profile. We operate in various research disciplines, including empirical and theoretical Corporate Finance, Investments and Portfolio Management, Banking, Behavioral Finance, and International Finance. Our research is supported by the Tinbergen Institute (TI) and the Erasmus Research Institute of Management (ERIM).
We have a strong international focus and promote the exchange of ideas through an active seminar series with speakers from top international academic institutions and a brown-bag seminar for internal speakers.
We actively collaborate with other departments within Erasmus School of Economics and Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) through the Erasmus Finance Group, which combines research activities in finance within Erasmus University Rotterdam.
