If you could drink your inbox, how would it taste?
On the 28th of September 2021 we gathered EUR-alumni for an exclusive experience in the Hortus Botanicus in Amsterdam. Alumni got the chance to register for a sunset tour through the botanical gardens, with an experienced tour guide.
In the beautiful and historc Orangerie, a greenhouse in the garden, EUR-alumna Lija Groenewoud van Vliet presented a short lecture on the interactions between innovation, art and technology. Lija is co-founder of In4Art and works with artists on experimental projects that humanise technologies and economic systems. After the lecture, artist Leanne Wijnsma hosted a tasting of her botanical blends. These blends were made to make our digital footprint tangible, and more understandable.
Lastly, alumni gathered for drinks and snacks. Many alumni of Erasmus University Rotterdam networked with each other, and a multitude of generations and academic disciplines were represented.
