Students at EUR play a significant role in our outreach programmes and activities. Following a thorough selection process and training(s) conducted by the Academic Outreach Programme team and external experts, our students work as student ambassadors, delivering various outreach programmes and activities in primary and secondary schools, as well as in the city. As role models, they inspire children and youth to pursue an educational path that aligns with their abilities and interests. Additionally, our students make important contributions to the development of our outreach offerings through co-creation sessions.
The students involved in our programme not only engage in outreach work with children and youth but also participate in training sessions, workshops, and other (informal) activities that support their own professional, academic, and personal development. They attend workshops led by external experts and take part in social events throughout the year. Through these activities, we foster a close-knit and motivated student community where students take pride in contributing to educational equity.
