Introduction
As a Tutor Academy teaching assistant, you work with the various researchers, lecturers and/or professors at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM).
Job description
In your role as teaching assistant, you teach workshops and grade assignments and/or exams. You support faculty in conducting research or with their administrative tasks. Furthermore, we provide you with additional training so that you can deliver workshops when needed.
Job requirements
Before you apply to the Tutor Academy, you must:
reside in the Netherlands;
possess a BSN (social security number); and
cannot be a first-year student.
Registration for second year students in 2024-2025 starts on 01 May 2024. Alumni typically do not serve as teaching assistants.
Employment conditions and benefits
You will compensated according to the standard student-assistant scale. In Fall 2023, this amounted to a gross hourly rate between €15.87 and €15.90 for second- and third-year students, and €17.24 - €17.28 for fourth-year and master students. Please note that, although compiled with the utmost care, final numbers may deviate from this based on the contract you will be offered (via HR or EURFlex).
