Introduction

We are recruiting for the position of a postdoctoral researcher of management education at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). You will work within the Innovation Management Section in the Department of Technology and Operations Management. Our current research focus areas include talent development; educational technology; sustainable innovation in (higher) education; and the role of curriculum design for effective higher education-employer collaboration.

Job description
In this role as a postdoctoral researcher, you will:
- support the principal investigator in the management of Erasmus+ projects related to these areas of knowledge;
- lead work packages in collaboration with international partners;
- collaborate on the publication of the research results in high profile peer-reviewed journals;
- collaborate in grant applications for national and international calls.
Job requirements
Successful candidates must have a relevant PhD degree, with a background in (management) education, research methods or other related fields.
You can also apply if you have a publication record in these areas.
For this role, we are particularly looking for applicants with at least two years of experience in management of EU-funded projects (Erasmus+, Horizon, etc.) and proposal writing. Experience in sustainable evidence-informed teaching innovation, data collection and analysis methods, including the application of multivariate analysis, is highly appreciated.

The start date of this position is in April/May 2025 and you will be based at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (RSM). This position is 0.8 fte - 1.0 fte. The salary is dependent on your experience and knowledge and ranges from a minimum of € 3,378 to a maximum of € 5,331 gross per month at Scale 10 on a full-time basis (38 hours per week), in accordance with the CAO-NU. The contract is offered for a period of 1 year and can be extended up to 4 years if suitability is proven and if financial and/or organizational circumstances remain the same.
