The style guide contains guidelines for writing print and web texts. Uniformity in writing style, especially the use of correct spelling and the correct representation of names and abbreviations, contribute to professionalism and quality of the organisation.
Bilingualism
Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) is a bilingual university, where Dutch and English are both considered working languages. At our university, we use the British English grammar in all of our communication. An update of the English Styleguide is currently in preparation.
