Do you find yourself in acute financial distress during your studies due to unexpected circumstances? The EUR Emergency Fund may be able to help you.
The EUR Emergency Fund is intended for students who, while enrolled at EUR, encounter financial difficulties due to special, unforeseen and temporary circumstances and can be assisted with a small financial support. By way of an example, the financial aid is not only intended for students who are experiencing financially adverse consequences from a war or natural disaster in their home country, as well as for students who find themselves in financial distress due to other acute personal circumstances. The financial aid is not intended to cover tuition fees or the cost of textbooks.
Claiming financial aid from the EUR Emergency Fund
If you want to be considered for financial support from the EUR Emergency Fund, complete the application form and budget plan and send it with supporting documents to the general email address of the EUR student counsellors. The student counsellors will assess the application and whether you are actually entitled to support from the emergency fund. You will be notified by e-mail within 2 weeks.
EUR Emergency Fund and profiling fund
There is a difference between the EUR Emergency Fund and the profiling fund. The profiling fund is designed for students who have experienced study completion delays due to certain personal circumstances. Different conditions and a different procedure apply for the profiling fund. You can find more information on our force majeure page.
