The parliamentary election will take place on Wednesday 17 March 2021. Residents of Rotterdam who own a voting pass, are able to vote on the campus of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Despite the corona measures taken and the extension of the curfew, it is again possible to cast your vote on campus this year. "We do recommend to vote in your own neighborhood at all times, if possible," said Mariska Nijkerk, Communication Advisor Municipality of Rotterdam. Do you live in a municipality other than Rotterdam? "In that case, you can only vote in your own municipality unless you have applied for a voter card. Due to the corona virus, EUR and the municipality of Rotterdam are taking measures to ensure that voting runs as smoothly as possible."
At what time and where can I vote?
The polling station in the Polak building is open on March 17 from 7:30 am to 9:00 pm. Visitors to the polling station can enter the building through the revolving doors. On election day, the current crowdedness at the polling station can be followed live via https://www.stembureausinrotterdam.nl/.
After voting, you are allowed to take the well-known red voting pencil home this year.
