Kristel Baele, President of the Executive Board, is more than excited about the coming year. EUR has some plans in store to make the year 2017 even more awesome than the previous one. These are her five favourites.
- The fun starts at the end of January, when we celebrate five years of cooperation with International Film Festival. This edition there will be special viewings for students and staff, debates and Studio Erasmus
- EUR will ‘renew the marriage vows’ with the city of Rotterdam. Together we will try to find solutions for the complex urban issues, and will be enhancing international profile and branding of city and university
- The University Library, the all-new Park Noord and the modern Sanders Building will be re-opened
- EUR is proud to be introducing 10 new MOOCs, and further enrich our education.
- Diversity in education and research will be enhanced by a network of diversity officers at each school to exchange knowledge, while working on a tailor-made approach at each school
- And last but not least: our stimulating programme for international and multi-disciplinary masters will kick-start this year too
It is going to be a year of opportunities and possibilities. Together we can make it happen!
