Berrie Vugts interviewed Dr Naomi Oosterman, lecturer and researcher on art crime at the Department of Arts and Culture Studies of the Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication. This conversation kicks off the collaboration between ESHCC and the Rotterdamsch Leeskabinet, for which an academic from the faculty will be interviewed yearly.
Oosterman made it clear that art crime takes on many forms, is widespread and has far-reaching consequences, underlining thereby the importance of her research field. Naturally, the theft from the Kunsthal in Rotterdam was also discussed. Watch this fascinating conversation on our YouTube channel.
