Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) should be a place where all students have the freedom to develop themselves, whether the burden is the laptop in your bag or the consequences of a chronic illness.
For some time now, the disability office has been collaborating with employees from various services and disciplines, to make and keep EUR campus accessible. The EUR is not alone in this. As of July 2016, the Dutch government ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. Following this treaty, Rector Magnificus Rutger Engels will sign the corresponding declaration of intent for higher education on Wednesday 9 October 2019. By signing this statement, the EUR declares that it attaches great importance to keep the campus accessible
