Thursday evening approximately 200 refugees have received shelter in the sports facilities on the Woudestein campus. This morning Erasmus University has opened a dedicated Scholarship Fund for refugees within the Erasmus Education Fund. Donations will be used to offer refugees an opportunity to study at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
President of the Board Pauline van der Meer Mohr: “We are touched by how many students, alumni, employees and neighbours have offered to help out. With the Scholarship Fund, we strive to give refugee student hope for a better future”.
