The Syrian civil war has raged on for almost a decade, causing more than 5.6 million refugees to flee the country. While the war continues, the future of these Syrian refugees is already heavily debated.
In these debates, the voices of Syrian refugees have by and large been absent.
- Do Syrian refugees intend to return?
- And if so, under what circumstances?
Dr Natascha Wagner and Nawras Al Husein interviewed 577 Syrian refugees to find out and learn about these refugees’ needs and aspirations. On this year’s World Refugee Day, we share their findings with you.
