Publication EUR University Library Annual Report 2023: Focus on Open

For the University Library (UL), the year 2023 was all about our core value 'Open', which not only applies to our materials, but also to our services, people and the building. Openness is reflected in all our activities: from promoting Open Science & Open Access, to the openness of our building and our employees. With the publication of this annual report, we give you insight into our activities and vision.

Openness is also reflected in our inclusiveness. We are a diverse organization where there is always room for input and change. We are proactive, reliable and open towards our users and colleagues. Furthermore, Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR) has an Open and Responsible Science ambition which the UL fully embraces. We strive to be as open as possible in all our collaborations.

We have also worked on making our special collections more accessible and improving our infrastructure, focusing on both physical and digital accessibility.

The Annual Report provides a detailed overview of our most important projects and achievements in 2023, ranging from extensive support for students and researchers to the continued commitment to inclusion and sustainability within our organization.

Thanks to the involvement of our colleagues and our collaboration with various partners, we continue to work on a library that is future-proof and responsive to the needs of the EUR community.
