First transnational project meeting
Dr. Gwen de Bruin, Manager IDEA Center EUR: “Although we met several times online, it was the first time we all met in person. It was great to see everybody in person. We had a packed agenda. We had a very valuable discussion about the case study design, which will result in a database of good practices of IDEA work strategies and approaches. We discussed how we should formulate our questions as to get the most valuable information when reaching out and contacting other national, European and worldwide institutions. To ultimately receive their best examples and practices to support integration and incorporation of IDEA within the daily operations, standard practices, processes, and initiatives.”
Prof. Semiha Denktaş, Chief Diversity Officer EUR: “We also looked ahead to the other project activities as well, such as the guidelines on how to set up IDEA offices at universities and institutions, how to create the right infrastructure and how to build ally-ships from within. We discussed other project related activities, such as quality indicators, risk management and administration requirements. We exchanged information and learned from each other’s' experiences and expertise. It was a very fruitful first transnational project meeting. I’m looking forward to our next meeting hosted by University College Dublin in Ireland!”
