According to Jeroen Suijs, professor of Financial Accounting at Erasmus School of Economics, companies operating in the Dutch healthcare industry should be obliged to publish their annual financial statement.
This would increase transparency in the healthcare sector and would allow the government to investigate where money could be saved. In an article in Het Financieele Dagblad, Suijs substantiates this statement.
